India for the world

today was my holiday so i did what i always luv to do i.e. watching movie ,i watched "slumdog millionaire" , it is one of the huge hit of recent times who has won prestigious "golden globe award" . For me it is one of the best directed movie with good screenplay n good emotional drama , it is based on the novel "Q&A" , the team has done tremendous work in making the movie n no doubtedly the movie is a good entertainment source. but after watching movie i feel bad for my country , i seariously don't know why anything which shows our poverty , our slum areas or our naked children is liked by the world , they love to watch us poor & naked .I m not against this movie but i hate watching india as a third world country .Few days before i watched "salaam bombay " it was also one of the most accredited movie in the world , it also had the same concept , showing india as the area full of slums where everone is cutting other. whole world enjoyed it saying that filmmaker has shown the reality , i don't know much abt reality but i know one thing that world enjoy in watching us down ......................n we also enjoy in showing us down .It is not true that they r the only gud movies that has been made in the last 50 years , u go and watch "lagaan " , it went to the oscar but couldn't make it just because there we have not shown the reality , actually we have to show that we lost the match n british ruled india for another 100 years n the moral of the movie should be " u should know your limits n be there where u are "...............i m not saying that lagaan was better than the movie that had won the oscar, but the thing is that when ever we got the international fame , it just because of the slums ,poor people n naked children . It is just left in india to show .................india has rich cultural diversity where milllions of people live we have many thing to gain international attention , but we usually sell our poorness to the world . I not only love my country but also respect it , for me poverty is not a matter of entertainment but a matter of concern . n to the world "STOP ENJOYING THE UGLINESS OF SLUM AREAS IN YOUR COLOUR T.V. & IF FIND IT SO MUCH INTERESTING VISIT THESE AREAS THAN ONLY YOU WILL GET THE REAL PICTURE "
